MIAMI (6 de mayo de 2022) – Christina Aguilera estrena el video oficial “La Reina” que se desprende del EP “La Fuerza”, su segundo trabajo en español. La tremendous estrella world despliega su inconfundible voz en esta ranchera acompañada de un grupo de guitarras, desprendiendo notas llenas de empoderamiento y fuerza femenina.
Luciendo una espectacular cabellera pelirroja y rodeada de una atmósfera llena de coloration y tradiciones mexicanas, Christina Aguilera interpreta en el video dirigido por Nuno Gomes. Creando la réplica femenina al clásico de José Alfredo Jiménez “El Rey” misma que fue interpretada por el ícono mexicano Vicente Fernández.
“Siempre rindo homenaje a los más grandes y Vicente Fernández es uno de ellos. Su canción ‘El Rey’ habla de ser el rey y lo grande que es. Con ‘La Reina’ respondo a este gran clásico enfatizando cómo un rey no sería rey sin su reina” comentó Christina.
En “La Fuerza”, Christina rinde homenaje a grandes leyendas de la música in style latinoamericana como Chavela Vargas y Vicente Fernández e incluye seis canciones como la balada “Somos nada” escrita por Mario Domm, “Pa Mis Muchachas” en donde compartió créditos con Nathy Peluso, Nicki Nicole y Becky G. Dentro de este EP Christina también explora el género urbano con “Santo” donde unió su voz con el artista puertorriqueño Ozuna.
